What Next?

Here I am at RJSS enjoying everything cowboy. After a winter of fun and traveling, I am torn between further adventure and getting back to Dry Gulch. There is a new 'lady friend' in my life.....

Oh my, what am I to do? Should I stay on the road or go back to Dry Gulch?

Trip to Washington (PA)

Had an opportunity to return to Dry Gulch last Saturday but evaded that notion and jumped on board with Poke & Dip to visit Washington (PA). (It IS closer to home y'know)

Am having a wonderful time at Poke & Dip’s house. Looking forward to going to RJSS on Saturday. While visiting, I met a wonderful cowgirl, Miss Bear (she stole my kapock). It’s going to be hard returning to Dry Gulch after all of this fun!

Out and About, then back home in Pittsburgh

Wow! What an adventure this year. Pep C or the Fox are not much different, they both kept me thrown in a closet in the 'off season' and only gave me the bubbly drink that starts with "P". Then.... This year, I hooked up with a Squirrel. You know what that means? A moose and a squirrel means adventure.

First there was hunting. Bagged my first big game!

The SASS convention in Las Vegas was my next big adventure! Check out all the places we went and 'interesting' people I met. They all loved me at fist sight!

I even got to participate in the Wax Match, what a blast!

My next adventure is to visit an old Army buddy of mine, Phil the weatherman. Stay tuned!

Moose visits Logans Ferry

Nov 10, 2007

Went to a cowboy action match at Logans Ferry today. They treated me like a king! Glad to have you here Mr Moose. Are you ready for fun and action Mr Moose? Anything you need Mr Moose? Wow, was that different! Just last week, as a meager stage prop, more than 25 people picked me up by my excellent set of antlers and looked me in the eyes. I was told "I'll protect you!" and then literally thrown into a basket and carried through the whole shooting scenario. That was 'humbiliating'! One more reason to 'hit the highway', eh?

At Logans Ferry I was treated with kindness, enthusiasm, and honored with two awards after the match (see pix above)! They are having some winter matches, I will be back!

Clue to my next adventure: Am watching one of my favorite old shows "Rocky and Bullwinkle go to Vegas"

Moose leaves Dry Gulch

Nov 3, 2007

My escape from Dry Gulch. Looking forward to a boring winter of NO MORE COWBOY action matches, I decided to hit the road in search of places where CAS matches and activities are taking place. I know Pep C has the Dry Gulch secret service and MCU (moose crime unit) looking high and low for me but they will not catch me until May. Alas, I will again be relegated to nothing more than the occasional stage prop. This winter? Just watch and keep up!
